Join The Lodge

Mozart Lodge is a musicians Lodge. We always have a musical interlude at our festive board given by the musicians of the lodge and visiting brethren or guests. Many of our members are active musicians.

Famous Musicians who were Freemasons

Along with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, over the years there have been many famous musicians worldwide who were freemasons and listed below are some of their names: –
Joannes Brahms, Franz Liszt, Felix Mendelssohn, Ludwig van Beethoven, Louis Armstrong, John Philip Souza, Nat King Cole, Irving Berlin, Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Rick Wakeman to name but a few.

Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest and largest non-religious, non-political, fraternal and charitable organisations. Its roots lie in the traditions and ceremonies of the medieval stonemasons who built our cathedrals and castles. Some rituals are still celebrated today.
